Wishing: that Scarlett won’t get sick before we go home and that I’ll be able to fit two weeks worth of clothing for EACH of us in ONE suitcase so I don’t have to pay out of the yingyang for having bags checked!

I don’t know what airline you are using, but a lot of them allow free bags for active duty military. Some require you have orders, but I think a lot are fairly lenient. It wouldn’t hurt to ask :) You can also skip ahead in line!
